Meet Your Supervisor

Dr. Sarah Amedoro

Dr. Sarah has long dreamed of being a teacher, in fact she often played "teacher" as a small child. For many years she envisioned teaching at a University one day. As the time approached for her to step into this role, she began reflecting on her most impactful learning experiences, and realized that these all took place outside of the classroom. Dr. Sarah was blessed to have several fantastic supervisors throughout her training. They not only supported her in case conceptualization and implementation of assessments and interventions, but also supported her in her own self-discovery and evolution. She decided to step into a supervisory role to give to others what she has been so blessed to receive.

Dr. Sarah is also very excited to share her experiences of integrating contemporary, empirical psychology, learned throughout her doctorate training, with holistic healing and spiritual practices that she has learned through a variety of post-graduate trainings and experiences. A clinician once said to her, "we can only take our clients as far as we've taken ourselves." Dr. Sarah is honored to support other trainees on their own journeys of self-discovery and professional evolution.
